I am a artist, originally from the Mid-West in the United States and have been living in the beautiful city of Las Vegas, Nevada. I have always loved drawing and painting even as a child following my dad around watching him sketch things for his customers, I would be drawing something on paper, wood. I am a self taught artist, never going to art school. I have been inspired by various instructors and workshops that I have taken over the years. I am always discovering new ways to add more light, color and realism to my work. Of all the mediums I have tired, Watercolor, Acrylics and etc. I prefer Oils, I was captured by them, the way the Masters made you feel a connection to their painting. And the slow dry process of Oils gives me plenty of time to see, feel where my work is going unlike Water colors. I also love traveling and going on group trips or if I find a spot go and do Plein Air painting, as well as working in my studio.
